In your sketchbook: Practice 1 pt. perspective
1) draw horizon line
2) mark vanishing point (VP)
3) draw minimum 5 shapes above, on and below horizon line
*bigger shapes look closer, smaller shapes look farther away
4) using a ruler, connect shapes to vanishing point
5) shade with pencil sides (using vp as light source)

In your sketchbook: Practice 2 pt. perspective
1) draw horizon line
2) mark vanishing points (VP)
3) draw minimum 5 shapes above, on and below horizon line
4) using a ruler and VERTICAL lines, connect shapes to vanishing points
5) ALL horizontal/diagonal lines lead to a vanishing point. There are NO made up angles. ALL lines MUST be either vertical or diagonal lines that lead to one of the two vanishing points.
